Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using pakana.net (the "Site") or participating in the Pakana Early Access program, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and lockb0x LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a company incorporated in the State of Arizona, United States.

2. Description of Service

Pakana is a privacy-preserving identity and payments infrastructure platform built on the Stellar blockchain network. The platform provides:

  • Zero-knowledge proof-based identity verification for compliance use cases.
  • Tokenized payment and escrow workflows with multi-signature approvals.
  • Cross-border settlement infrastructure via the Stellar network and MoneyGram integration.
  • Decentralized identity (DID) anchoring and credential management.

The Site currently serves as an informational landing page and Early Access registration portal. Full platform functionality will be made available in future releases.

3. Early Access Program

Pakana is currently in a pre-release early access phase. By signing up:

  • You acknowledge that the service is pre-release software and may be incomplete, contain bugs, or be subject to significant change.
  • There are no guarantees of availability, uptime, feature completeness, or continued access.
  • Early access does not constitute a binding agreement to provide the full production service.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the early access program without notice.
  • Your participation in the early access program is subject to our Privacy Policy.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, code, design, trademarks, and other materials on the Site and within the Pakana platform are the exclusive property of lockb0x LLC, unless otherwise noted.

  • Patents: Pakana's core technology is protected by 2 patents pending in the United States.
  • Trademark: "Pakana" is a registered trademark of lockb0x LLC. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
  • Copyright: All website content is © 2026 lockb0x LLC. All rights reserved.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or exploit any content from the Site without our prior written consent.

5. User Obligations

By using the Site and submitting your email for early access, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age.
  • You will provide accurate and truthful information.
  • You will not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its infrastructure.
  • Your use of the Site complies with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations.
  • You will not use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL INFORMATION, CONTENT, AND SERVICES PROVIDED ARE OFFERED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOCKB0X LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We make no warranty that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LOCKB0X LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100.00).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Termination

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to:

  • Terminate or suspend your participation in the Early Access program at any time, for any reason or no reason, without notice or liability.
  • Discontinue the Site or any part thereof at any time.
  • Remove or restrict access to any content or features.

Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.

Any dispute arising under or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona. You consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes, we will provide notice on the website.
